RACEHORSES

Highfield Stud (Ireland) based outside Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, is the racing arm of the business. The aim is to buy yearlings for the breeze up and the racetrack market, as well as breeding mares for the foal and yearling markets or to run on the track.

Highfield has had a lot of success in both sectors, examples being Abby Hatcher, Gospel, Zain City, For Pleasure, Aquarius, Nefarious, Red Pantz, Jubilee Bridge and Flamigo Bay. Darragh is also involved in Capital Bloodstock alongside Ger O’Neill and Declan Orpen who stand Alkumait, Hunting Horn and Mirage Dancer at Castlefield Stud in Co. Kilkenny.
